Biography
Born in Truro, Cornwall, I am a multi media artist, specialising in drawing and painting.  I also create comic books and illustrations using many tools. I love creating and have great passion for what I do.  I have drawn since I was able to hold a crayon (18mths) and regretted not a single moment. I create to share ideas & thoughts about our current times to create understanding.
I write and draw comic graphic novels and I am currently working on a new horror story for 2007, as well as finishing the mixing on my third experimental music album (all improvised).
Statement
To share ideas and thoughts promoting art, art learning, lifelong learning and encouraging others to understand themselves through art.Artist History
I Grew up in, Bath, Cosford, Frome and Yeovil, Somerset. I attended SCAT college in Taunton at 21 (after being made redundant) to pursue my love of art. I gained a degree in Fine Art from Southampton Institute, Hampshire and then followed a path of low paid work to finance my art. I gained a teaching qualification in 1998 and began teaching art in 1998 teaching A level (voluntary) and then onto Prison Education from 2001, after travelling the globe.
I gained a PGCE in 2006 (as part of a government drive to raise standards) and I am currently compiling my work, as a book and then an exhibition show.  Current art work is pencil shaded and oil painted portraits, looking at how light and shadow gives and shifts form to create new abstractions.
